Is there an Apple Watch thread?

Post by Orange Cola »

After much deliberation I picked up a series three in the airport on Friday, so far my only criticism is how under advertised it is because I’ve found out it does more than what I’d read up about and in a much better way than I thought it would.

So, any recommendations for apps? Any general hints and tips? The advertised battery life is up to 18 hours, I got 50 odd out the first charge and it still had 15% left to go

I had a series 1 Apple Watch. I didn’t really benefit from having phone functions on my wrist, and it wasn’t great for telling the time because it required an exaggerated wrist movement to display it. My ex-girlfriend liked it though so she kept it.

I prefer a watch which does simply what a watch normally does.

Yeah its tech I don't want, if my phones on silent I don't particularly want the watch telling me someones getting in touch..

Sometimes its nice to switch off notifications and get away from it all.

The watch does “do not disturb” too, and it’s linked to the phone so you only need to tell it once.
