 wrong section but indeed you don't get much more ludicrous than that.

Several Cygnets were used as factory pool cars because they literally couldn't give them away.

Gah! I really want one but they’ve stayed the same price forever and I wanted to treat it as a dog/airport car.. great for parking and boot big enough for my case/dog (note: don’t confuse these two!)
Cheers,

Homeworld Remastered free on Epic this week.

A fantastic pair of sigle player campaigns and a fun multiplayer.

Will run in 4k on a potato these days and looks stunning.

Not quite free but as we're all mosty "of an age" I thought you reprobates might appreciate knowing that Nightdive, old school remasterers extraordinaire, have turned their hand to Rise Of The Triad.

Fair bit of updates, old dev assets revived and voiced, updated to run on current hardware properly (aspect ratios, resolutions, framerates etc) - basically a "Directors Cut" of a game that's not really as good as Doom all things considered, but by goodness it's got character.

And one of the best MIDI videogame soundracks ever made.

They're doing a run of the Quake II soundtrack on vinyl.

https://www.lacedrecords.com/products/q ... uble-vinyl

Again, not free, but I'm pretty sure a few people on here will drop everything and get their wallets out for this one.

Edit: Oh, it's because they've remastered Quake 2 for modern gear and did a similar job to what was done for ROTT - engine revamps, additional content etc.

Just watched someone I'm a patreon of (?) play it and it looks like they've done a really nice job of it.

Also on consoles, for peasants.
