I'm not, because I'm not a moron.
:D

I've already decided to upgrade my original Pixel XL to a Pixel 4 XL as soon as they're released, but not because 'new features yo', simply because my phone battery is starting to fade after 3 years of hard use.

For features, my Pixel XL is as much as I need or will need for a good while.

Yeah ALL DAY LONG.

Like, imagine that? Not having to charge your watch ALL DAY whilst it displays the time?

We've really peaked.

Yep, this is the best bit

The 11 Pro has 4hrs more battery than the XS
The 11 Prolapse has 5hrs more battery than the XS Max

And the other best bit is calling it 11. Nice, easy 11

It's people asking for processing power and RAM that get me. Who needs 6/8GB of RAM in a phone? I know PC's that have less and do more.

And my Pixel3a has a "midrange" processor, which people complained was old/slow on release. But if I press a button, and things open instantly....how much faster do you need? Can things happen faster than 'instantly' with a better processor?

Might just be the innovation the market desperately needs.

I think what with the Apple Arcade launch with exclusive games these phones are replacing handheld gaming devices so you need all that power. The other thing is the camera which is doing about a billion things at once so more processing power = better camera.

XS is a much better name for a phone than 11 Pro.

I do like the purple colour of the 11. But I reckon my XS will last me a good few years.

I always keep my phones for 2 years so I’m not due for a change till this time next year. I can’t help but think that camera monstrosity is a “fuck you” to Apple by Johnny Ive. Hopefully now he’s gone they’ll bin the notch and ugly camera lips for the next one.

I was tempted by the Apple Watch Series 3 but just noticed they’re only selling them in aluminium and cheap glass and have binned the stainless steel with sapphire ones so it’s useless for me.

No high refresh rate screens

No reverse wireless charging (so you could charge your AirPods directly from the phone)

Still using lightning rather than USB-C

Only the Pros include a faster charging plug

But they have caught up a bit with 'old' features like Night Sight, Street View, Swipe keyboard etc

The main thing for me is that the Pro's camera is just so ugly. Raised lens rings on a raised square 'thing'. Just looks really poorly designed.

They'll sell well (as always), because Apple.
