My game won’t connect online at all since I bought it, even though my Xbox is connected to the internet fine

The winter season just feels like a grind now, bored of the lack of grip and inability to use silly powerful cars and just trying to get enough influence bollocks to get to spring.

Mito - I know what you mean, winter is a bit of a pain. Kind of forced in to offroad cars. Although I have been using the G65 AMG with the wide body kit thing. Looks like the G500 4x4 currently.

Interesting. According to my session last night, winter was about to start in 1 day and 18 hours IIRC. I thought it switched at the same time for everybody.

Thanks to the fucking annoying grinding noise whenever manual w/clutch is used and the interior camera angle, she's as pissed off with it as I am

It should be - I just assumed it was because Mito's game wasn't connected to online. My game was still in Autumn last night when I played it. But was more commenting on the fact that winter was annoying, as can't use the cars I'd like to.

Until you complete the seasonal showcases it switches every time you earn enough influence, once you've done the showcases it reverts to the weekly schedule along with everyone else.

This game already looks awesome

I know it’s (very) sad, but I sat there ‘in’ the car earlier, up on the hill by the wind turbines, just watching the weather rolling in from distance. So cool.

I'm quite enjoying messing with the photo mode in this....

Oh ffs, I just finished winter, spend an hour in spring, did the final showcase so I’m on the same season as everyone else and it’s fecking winter for 7 days now.

Predictablely I have not played mine for almost two weeks and missed the whole spring season

Quick question: my nephew would like this for his X-Box (birthday up-coming)

Is it better for him if I buy the physical media, or some form of voucher so he can download it?

If the later, what's the best place/way to do this?

Depends on his broadband connection.

You can buy the direct game download code from places like Amazon.

I'd always rather have the physical media if possible. There will probably be some monster updates first time he try's to play though.

If he's got a decent internet connection then probably easier just to get a download code.
