Moving on from keyboard sanitation or lack thereof...

The car itself is ugly as sin but the set looks significantly better and £46 seems reasonable.

This, I WILL be buying. (Edit, Not a fucking chance if it's the £180 now rumoured  )

Popped into the Lego store at the Rockefeller Centre. They had made a model of the Rockefeller Centre. I think they could do something equally good at the Leicester Square store

They had also made this, which I liked

I was impressed with the models in the Rockefeller store - the Flat Iron store just has the usual made versions of sets in the glass display cases.

They had a LEGO version of the statue that's in the plaza in the store window when we went :D

Top-of-the-stairs shot? Impressively risky :)

The new Stranger Things set looks great. Had a look in the London Lego store today but can't be arsed to lug the thing back home so ordered online.

Well you are risking about 75% less with knock off Lego ;)
Prices have gone up slightly for fake Lego and set availability is not quite as good as it was before the Lepin raids but it's taken less than a month for UCS Falcons and Chirons to become available again.

People were queuing up overnight to get it: I assumed it was very limited and only in store.

Nope, you can order it online from the 1st June (now if you are a VIP member).

Oooof, it’s a few quid

Don’t think I’ll be buying it, and if I do, I’ll wait for the standard 30% discount from, and the convenience of, buying from Amazon

I was thinking about ordering that, but then I noticed you can’t eat it so I don’t think I’ll bother

Very very cool, I've spent waay too many hours this last month creating my own little (not lego but Elite:Dangerous) timelapse, the effort these guys have put in is impressive.
