I think this Miura MOC based on the GT3 looks amazing, up there with the 917 for what I would like to get next now.

That looks better than the 911 😎

Smyth's have a few more deals going on btw, I'd go get the Marvel Ship but the BH traffic has brought the roads to a standstill.

Sure does, although even though my GT3 has sat on a shelf in the years since I've built it. I am loath to rip it to bits. But that is a bit silly really.

Interesting idea, and intriguing that its launched in the UK. Do you want a blue Fiat500 instead of yellow?

I already have the yellow one but I figured I'd speculate on the blue one as well (or build it alongside the yellow, eventually).

Since it's UK only I was tempted by the blue one; it is likely to go up in value as a rarity. But while I like the yellow one I have already, I don't think it's enough of a classic set to speculate on so I can't be bothered.

Best not show the fire station sets to the middle DJLet. He's obsessed with fire station/service Lego and we've got several other varieties already.

While I quite like that, it's ludicrous really. This sort of model is the type of MOC which people spend years amassing the bricks for and building; now you can buy it with instructions. But hey. I won't be buying it.

ETA: I suppose you could make a diorama in the bath of it sinking...

I'm having similar thoughts. It's ridiculous but kinda cool.

Also, same with the Home Alone set. Released just as we get our Lego discount reinstated next month, dammit..

I didn't realise that you'd given your kids such.... non traditional names.

I've just realised how long ago it was that I went to Bilund. It was a whole lifetime ago, just before I was diagnosed with Graves. It was magical, though.
