Was supposed to be released early June I thought. Would have expected a few more leaks this close to the date, TBH. And agreed, more of the same in terms of how they've interpreted the design. Will still be getting it though I think.

That Chiron looks awful - like a Transformer that got stuck half way.

Wheels/arches look all wrong.

Piggy-snout nose too.

My nephew won't be happy, I think he was looking forward to this

Hadn't seen that until now. I'm genuinely excited about it, I hope that's just a bad angle or something that's a non issue.

Looks much better than the GT3 to me. Pricey though, I'll wait for discounts...

Looks slightly better in the various review vids posted up since yesterday. Even Schmee has done one.

£330. Wonder how long before they do start discounting it.

I’ll be buying it but not at full price. I think it looks great, shows just how bad the 911 is. The features review show it’s AWD with an 8 speed gearbox and that was a deal maker for me.

I won’t be paying full price for the Chiron but I may be tempted at ~£200 or less. We’ll see if it ever gets that big a discount.

Now I’ve seen it in the flesh (at the Lego store in Honolulu) I think it looks pretty good.

Worst "I'm in Hawaii" post ever ;)

I'm hoping it gets to below £200 top but even then that's still a lot of money for Lego. Worryingly it seems to be a trend, the biggest sets never used to get above £150. What did you think of the size and the detail of the one you saw?

Pretty much exactly the same size as the GT3, and didn't look more detailed, just a bit heavier (e.g. the pillars aren't just flexy pieces, they have solid beams in too).

And the jet lag today is fucking horrible

Is that what it's called after a honey moon? ;)

I think I need to get myself to a Lego shop and see one built.

New Lego 007 Aston Marti has been teased. I’m guessing it’s the DB5.

The opportunity for Lego models of every gadget, baddie base, car etc that's ever been in the canon is an interesting one. I think I'd have to get the submarine Esprit if they did one.

The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on
