Lego
Re: Lego
I suspect they’re worth ~£100 each but the sets which go madly up in value aren’t necessarily as old.

Re: Lego
Those sets from the 80s are so damn iconic and the boxes take me straight back to my childhood.
I seem to have set a reminder in my calendar for the 911 set going on sale. That's a bad sign.

There's a 911 review up here: https://brickset.com/article/57757/revi ... orsche-911
My Spring Lantern Festival arrived on Tuesday, before they said it would dispatch, so I've got it at last. No time to build it but at least it's here. As a consequence of the date of it becoming available, I now have two Year of the Ox models and two of the chocolate box and flower. Hope the free gift changes before I order the 911

Re: Lego
Reminder for any VIP folks, this opens up tomorrow. With some VIP goodies too I think.Alex_ wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 2:08 pm Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa set available on the 1st March (earlier for VIPs). Should be around £120. The proportions are slightly off, the roof seems a little too low and the wheels are a tad too small, but otherwise it's pretty cool and I'll be getting it.

Re: Lego
The VIP items didn’t last long - a couple of minutes or so from what I’ve read online.
Ordered it as well, mainly for the free ice skating diorama - had to buy something else to top up to £150 to qualify for that. No VIP items though. Not bothered, frankly.
