I just bought the plain BillyBookcases tbh, reasoning that I can shut the dining rm off most of the time and limit the dust build up to some degree. I've got room on the opposite side for two more yet, so I'll see how things go. A lot of the reasoning is also to reduce the Lego spread about the house, so I can attempt to keep the lounge looking almost like an adult lives here..

From TechnicBRICKs.com
Info collected about the 2H2021 LEGO Technic sets, part of which was shared here in the previous days.
Set reference, name or codename, price and release date.
42126 - IP Vehicle 2021 - 149,99€ - Oct 2021
42128 - Heavy-duty Tow Truck - 149,99€ - Aug 2021
42129 - 4x4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Tri.. - 299,99€ - Aug 2021
42131 - CAT D11T Bulldozer - 449,99€ - Oct 2021
Note that prices may vary across countries.
It seems we will get yet another licensed vehicle/car in 2021 (42126)...
Wondering about missing references in the sequence of 2021 LEGO Technic sets (42127 and 42130).
Maybe we will have a couple of surprises still hiding, or these were assigned to 2022 licensed sets already in the works. Time will tell…

Fancy this to go with my Unimog 8-)

I was gutted to start building the Defender only to discover a piece missing from the very first bag. I went right back through the instructions and there was no place I could have made a mistake. How long to parts take to arrive? I want to get back building!

It wasn't that quick, but you get it no quibble, no questions asked. Just fill in the form on the website and they’ll send it out. What are you missing?

Ordered the Police Station this morning, to catch the gift car. Having to pay full whack is a little salty but I am getting quite into these big Creator Expert buildings..

Not really sure how to describe it but unlike Barry, I can't move on without it.

Look in the back of the instructions, there’s a list of all the pieces and their part numbers, worth putting up what piece it is, never know, one of us might have a spare

If you can be bothered, Brickset is useful for getting part IDs and such:

I think this is the part mine was missing:

Quite similar to what’s missing on mine. I just looked on the back page of the instructions to identify it.

There's something not quite right about the rear of the Ferrari 488 GTE. Ordered the McLaren Senna and the Jeep Wrangler. I wish Lego would scale up the wheels. On quite a few models, the wheels are a bit small for the arch.

In a scary algorithm way, YouTube has been pushing vids for "fixing" the stance on Lego vehicles lately, so it seems others agree with you too.

In unrelated news, I appear to have lost my mind and ordered even more Lego, Privet drive (cheap on Amazon) then some old road plates (as the new Lego ones are awful), the Bonsai tree and flower bouquet. As well as the creator police station already mentioned.

I've also thrown together a little town with my original road plates and the creator 3in1 buildings. Hardly Briksie levels, but amusing enough.

It's very much WIP obviously, slowly removing old furniture while I build up the new stuff., Got another tall Billy Bookcase to go in on the nearside left, and I'll get an IKEA table to replace that old mahogany until on the right.

Just to clarify in case people forgot, I'm 47yrs old.

I wonder if Lego make more money from kids or from middle aged men reliving their youth...

They've clearly made a decision to tap into the adult market over recent years, adding age rated sets and big expensive collector sets. The lockdowns have triggered my increased purchases, it gives me something to do. If I get the staff discount reinstated it'll take some will power to keep a lid on things.

I imagine Minecraft had a big impact on them hence going for adults and nostalgia.

I got the UrQuatrro as my first lego model (our lad got the Ninjago dragon for his birthday, and I got to make that for him, which was fun).
Within a day he's lost my driver figure from the Audi

Have the matching heeltread socks too :)

Looks like my obsession with Lego isn't about to let up, assuming this leak is for reals.
