The Metaverse comes across as very cyberpunky. I guess it’s the next natural progression for billionaires as they can maybe move their entire company into the virtual world and maybe one day their entire brains too

Unsurprisingly, someone had already been using the company name 'meta'. Facebook tried to buy it and were declined, but went ahead anyway. The original meta is now asking for $20m lol.
