I think the game developer themselves did that rather than Sony.

Looks like it just shouldn’t have been released on last gen consoles, it’s wicked on million pound pc’s.

It looks fucking amazing on my 1070 on 1080p and I haven’t had a single crash
I think the people online crying that it’s unplayable on anything but a 30 series card are full of shit.

I would like to murder the cunt who didn’t design the mini map to zoom out as you drive though.

Sounds like it was actually Sony who pulled it, while the developer encouraged people not happy with it to go through the refund system. It’s supposed to be even worse on xbox one, but Microsoft have left it up but will give refunds. If it was the developers decision surely they’d have been more likely to get it removed from the worse performing Xbox?

My step son wants it, but I’m a bit concerned his pc will struggle, although he’ll probably wait for his steam account to get topped up at Christmas first.

I've decided to wait it out for the next-gen version. The game runs ok on the X, but is a bit underwhelming in the graphics department compared to all the flashy promotional videos we saw.
Cheers,

Mike.

Yes, I'm still on this. Realised something really really stupid - you can only reach level 50 max. Your character however has 5 individual attributes which go up to level 20 each. Therefore you're left with having a jack of all trades character or one which is only strong in 2 areas. Stupid. It's single player, let us make a god character if we want... You don't earn any XP after this so can't even continue unlocking perk points.

True but if you want to re-spec your character you can go to any ripperdoc and buy the tabula e rasa and redistribute all your perk points but not attributes so 20 in cool can't be turned into 20 in body etc. - if you're later in the game what else do you need to spend your eddies on?

My version of "V" started as a rifle specialist but now i'm moving more towards netrunner with my last points (level 43 i think atm) so i have 20 in technical and 14 in intelligence.

Am enjoying immensely and have 77 hours in game - but am running around doing everything that isn't a main questline job atm - all the cyberpsycho, side jobs, gigs and hustles i've cleared from periphery of map and am now spiralling inwards to mop up and trigger remaining jobs before completing act 2 with Takemura.

You need level 20 in an attribute to unlock the special perk which is silly.
I got up to 15 in intelligence but still come across the odd breach protocol which is a higher level.
Engineering I think I got to 14 but I didn’t unlock the perk which allows legendary items to be crafted - I may have to waste 100,000 Eddie’s on the tab for that but I need to check if I even have a high enough level for that to have been unlocked.

I’m happy with the overall build of the character though, silly overpowered to the point where all the later cyberpsycho missions were 1 hit kills.

Have they patched this yet?

I played it for a bit but it totally pissed me off when it hung at the end of a mission then didnt save the progress so i had to redo the mission.

There’s been a few patches. Oddly my game worked pretty perfectly until the patches! After that I have a recurring clothes not showing bug, not being able to pull my weapon out or shoot bug and I keep getting stuck in vehicles

I keep seeing vehicles looking like they are in quicksand and also had a weird issue where my projectile launch system disappeared from my arm (you can buy tranquiliser darts for it and one shot every enemy but not kill them - handy for not killing cyberpsycho's....) without me having unequipped it - unless one of the patches rebalanced the game to take that little bonus out!

Will replay i'm sure and do some different character builds - might even do a melee build....... but can't see how that will go particularly well as lots of enemies have ranged weapons, although mantis blades are fun....

I accidentally purchased a mod for my cyberdeck at the ripper which made all my weapons non lethal - couldn't unequip it either

I started the final mission, completed 2 of the mission endings so far which were good although I'm not happy about how you continue the game once you finish it. Not sure how the future DLC will tie into it but I hope it's a proper update with a new storyline rather than just some new cars and guns.

82% completion and 4 of 7 possible endings (2 choices for the corpo ending but it was soooo long I only did one and there are 2 suicide endings - one where you just end it and get no epilogue and one where you go alone to Arasaka and get shredded), 18% missing because I fucked up the Delamain quests and the one where you have to drive after some police van or something.

Being level 50 with thermal mantis blades makes mincemeat of Adam Smasher at the end, as does having his own shotgun - and then shooting him with that, 5-6 shots and he's done for

Game is glitchy as balls still but will replay slowly as a Female V and make sure I 100% it this time around.

Corpo option? SPOILERS BELOW

The endings I did were:
- With Panam - I did both options.
- Johnny and Rogue - Both options.
- Johnny alone (secret ending) (this is a suicide if you die during the mission but the ending and choices are the same as Johnny as the one above if you make it through).
- Suicide
- Hanako option - I think this one was the longest but I enjoyed it and it helps clear up the story. Yorinobu’s motives for killing his father were clear and valid as he must have realised that the shard would be used on himself. It also suddenly makes sense why Hanako wanted him alive, she was in on it too

IIRC in the first 3 options above giving your body to Johnny results in the same ending which is a pretty crap one.
I felt like picking Johnny and or Rogue and ending in V’s body was the best ending overall. Judging by your friend’s reactions in the credits everyone is happy for you and you accomplish becoming a legend - the fixer status goes from 90% to 100% too and the final mission is great ending.
Also the penthouse is pretty sweet.

It just annoys me how it all then reverts back to the beginning of the Hanako Embers missions.

Corpo = Hanako

Didn't want to do "submit to Secure your soul" and then the go back to earth option after I realised it took sooooo long to do the epilogue this way.

That testing on space station is frustrating as hell!

As I'd done both the Rogue endings and knew that the give Johnny your body ending was the same for Rogue/Panam I didn't bother for Panam and instead crossed the border to get my 4/7

Might do a solo Johnny suicide run at some point - but as i'm level 50 and can just quickhack short circuit or tech sniper people through walls I suspect i'll survive

Ah, I started as a Nomad but still had the Hanako option. I don’t think the prologue choice makes any difference to the rest of the gameplay aside from a few voice lines though.

I can’t be bothered to do another play through, will just pick it up again once there’s some DLC.
