Garage Tunes

Post by unzippy »

I’ve moved house and now have a ‘tandem garage’ 8-)

I’m thinking about some tunes for the man cave. Requirements are:

Speakers
Some kind of amp
Needs an aux input so i can plug in my minidisc player
CD player
Bluetooth from my phone

Thinking some kind of old midi/mini system with a couple of aux in, along with something like this - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/logi ... io-adapter.

Any other thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks but think that's a bit too good/pricey for the garage.

Loved my Sony MD players in the late 90s / early 2000s. I hung on to them for a while as they sounded much better than 128kbps mp3s in the early days of iPods.

Personally I clicked on this thread expecting to see people waxing lyrical about Craig David

Just a decent bluetooth speaker if you've got a portable CD player hanging around alongside your minidisc?
These are ok for even less
but I'm sure not a patch on the Bose one above.

Thats what I’m using currently, it really is excellent for the bluetooth stuff from the phone - but it’s the wife’s. And I want to go through my old minidisc compilations.
Going to give that Yamaha thing above a go.
