I have a fun but quite blurry photo from a few years ago taken from the office window of Lotus looking out across the track to the treeline and there's a faint blob of Apache doing a very very low level cruise below treetop height.

I could hear a really round rumble at the weekend, checked Flightradar and it was an A400M about 15 miles away. I followed it until it was no longer audible @ roughly 50 miles away

Not Flightradar but a seafaring equivalent...I would have liked to have taken this leg (assuming car hire at the end); https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/ho ... 71/zoom:11

Had a Spitfire fly overhead - I didn’t spot it but looked at the tracker because we were buzzed by a low A400.

There is also a Hurricane up which seems to have taken off from the same place; must be something going on in Lincolnshire.

Here’s the A400 track:

8-) Hopefully it's as clear there as it is here so you could get a decent view.

I got a great view of the A400 going past our living room window - sadly the second pass was a mile away over the fields and it had started climbing so my attempt to video it on my phone was pretty futile.

Always the way; you notice something interesting flying low and it’s gone by the time you load the camera app.

Boring video:

Yep, always the way, but a what a memory to have of it flying past the window 8-)
That's still a much better clip than anything I ever manage to get :D

Dropping a care package at Stoke, by the look of it.

I was at the park when I saw it flying overhead.

It went all the way up past Perth and landed somewhere in Scotland, it seems. Not sure why they faffed around in Oxon and Glos before heading up there.

Had an osprey go past a few minutes ago, not in the usual horizontal mode but in a slow hover mode, and was incredibly loud, a real thump you could feel 8-)

A chinook sounds like a fat man bellyflopping into a pool 400 times a minute.
