Anyone selling an Xbox?
Anyone selling an Xbox?
I have a hankering to get back into gaming, my pc is not powerful enough for games and always enjoyed Halo and the like. I know Project Scarlett is due out within the year hence looking for a second hand one so I can upgrade if I get into it.
Re: Anyone selling an Xbox?
Someone had a new one on here before Xmas for sale.
Re: Anyone selling an Xbox?
Yes, I’ve messaged but it was October so I guess it’s gone.

I’ve got one that I haven’t used for a couple of years, but if they’re £150 new then it wouldn’t be worth the hassle of selling it just in case I did want it again.
Re: Anyone selling an Xbox?
I saw that on PC World but it was out of stock everywhere, for some reason I thought Game had gone bust so didn’t look there. With it being the digital only edition, can anyone give me an idea of how many games it will hold. I have no idea how large these games are!scotta wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 10:28 am you can buy a brand new one for £149

Re: Anyone selling an Xbox?
On average games are probably 25gb, some bigger, some smaller, so a 1tb should hold 30-40 games ish.
I'd probably pay £30 more for one with an optical drive to be able to buy secondhand games which should more than cover the higher initial outlay, plus save quite so much downloading...

Agreed - this looks like a decent package.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 11:29 am On average games are probably 25gb, some bigger, some smaller, so a 1tb should hold 30-40 games ish.

Yes, that’s what I’m leaning towards.scotta wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 5:26 pmAgreed - this looks like a decent package.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 11:29 am On average games are probably 25gb, some bigger, some smaller, so a 1tb should hold 30-40 games ish.

Re: Anyone selling an Xbox?
Is the One S faster than the standard Xbox? My launch edition one really struggles with new games in terms of stuttering and crashing.
How about not having a sig at all?

Re: Anyone selling an Xbox?
S has a slightly quicker gpu but don't know whether it improves performance at all or is just to allow 4K upscaling and HDR support.
Cheers, Harry
Re: Anyone selling an Xbox?
According to what I’ve read Microsoft claim they are identical yet all the magazine tests found the One S to be faster and as has been mentioned it has the 4K up scaling.

Bollocks, too late, up to £200 now.

Argos have put all theirs up to £250 again which is daft, they'll probably drop down again in a week or two.
