The only sore point is that I drew NZ in the works sweepstake!

What. A. Game.

Watched it in the pub with a full English on the big screen, the atmosphere was tense throughout and we have a fair few ex-rugby players in there too. I think we’ve been really spoiled with the quality of this World Cup, Japan and their home team have made it a memorable one.

There’s people (KiwiDave I expect) getting pissy about Owen Farrell smirking whilst NZ did the Haka now! 🤣🤣🤣

So England vs SA/Wales - who will the non-English on here be supporting?

I’ll be in Toulouse, so imagine there will not be many England supporters!! 😂
Cheers,

I feel like Wales having weathered the initial physical storm look the better team now.

Bold decision by Wales to go for that scrum but it paid off.

I was raised on Welsh rugby by my Dad so I always support them.

I'm running out of finger nails to bite now...

Well that's a shame. It would have been great to have a northern hemisphere final.

I was supporting Wales, but I would rather play SA as an England fan. Wales just don't know when they're beaten, and would have been pretty confident against England.

Yes. Tense, scrappy game and much prefer SA to play against.

Yep - in my mind its also comforting to know we knocked out a team who beat South Africa convincingly in the pool stages. Clearly a different team can always turn up on the day, however, if Wales had have beaten SA by a similar margin to the Kiwis then they'd have been more of an unknown quantity.

Wales were definitely the most over rated team in the tournament.
