Due to this delay, I got to the Scotland Japan game literally just as the whistle blew, having had to sprint from Yokohama station, complete with all the Japanese tournament volunteers clapping and cheering me on like something out of Forrest Gump. The atmosphere has been amazing.

Both All Blacks v Ireland and Japan v South Africa were excellent games too, and the All Blacks look on frightening form. Sad to see Japan go out to the Saffers, but they’ve been perfect hosts as you’d expect.

Great country and just sad I can’t stay around for a little longer.
As no-one else has commented, i feel I should point out that - despite the fact I am NOT jealous at all - you are a TAUC.

According to Sean Fitzpatrick about the Haka "It's more about us", "it's about preparing for battle", "if you want to sing sweet chariot during it, fine. It the Irish want to sing during it, fine".

That clears that one up then. :)

Fingers crossed we give them a game!

Good half lads.

Players look like they've taken a pounding though, a few niggles. Going to be a long second half. Benches will be crucial, both good.

😂 tbf, they scored a try against NZ in 90 seconds. No need to state the obvious!

And were the first team to have nilled the All blacks in the first half since 1991.

Astonishing, edge of the seat stuff (literally). Can’t wait for next week.

It was made tense because NZ can score at any point. When that second disallowed try was given I thought it was going to be tough for the lads to hold their nerve. Credit to them, they didn't really give NZ much of a sniff, even the points NZ did score was just a bit of poor England play rather than good Kiwi attacking play.

I can't really think of a better England performance.
