In regard to your mobile phone (that you may own, or you may indeed lease, borrow, or simply have stolen).......

I use one of the leather Apple cases.

- It protects the phone well enough when I drop it.
- It makes the back flat, eliminating the wobble caused by the camera bump.
- It’s not very big, so doesn’t really make the phone much bigger.

I have a foot in both camps. shitty work iphone is a case because I have to and my lovely Pixel 2XL is as nature intended because I'm not a cack handed Mormon or moron

I don't think I've ever had a phone case for more than about 10 minutes before ripping it off in disgust. They just annoy me.

My iPhone is in a (real Kevlar) mous case. It would have been destroyed many many times over without this.

Eldest miklet broke the screen in his iPhone within 36 hrs a couple of years back. Learning well from this, he broke the screen on the Huwawei the I gave him for a Christmas within 6hrs if opening the box.

iPhones are impoosible to hold onto without a case

I have a case because my job necessitates it, it’s one with a flap that covers the screen as well, which is damaged and scratched from carrying bags full of broken tiles

I’ve never dropped my XR but I’m always amazed at it’s ability to slide off completely flat surfaces.

I don’t use a case as I like easily being able to slip my phone and in out of my pocket and it just looks better without one.
It’s so damp slippery though that if I’m wearing anything but jeans when driving they will fly out of my pocket into the back of the car.

Luckily, the couple of times I’ve dropped my X I was in bed and my face prevented any damage.

Mine wears a case as insurance and partly so I can actually grip the phone as it's too bloody slippery without it. Good work LG.

Always in a case. Spigen is my choice,it even has fake CF bits on it.

But my phone’s in a Spigen case because I’m not an idiot...

My 6s is in a thin smoked plastic case thing which covers the sides and back.

Mainly because they didn't do a black version of the phone at the time and space grey is a bit too light for my liking and I thought it would scratch and mark easily.

Also means the camera bump is in a recess.

I don't have anything on / over the screen because I'm not a cackhanded moron.

Unrelated: dropped my iPhone X in the pool and I can confirm it is water resistant. By the time I'd jumped in (clothed) and got it out, it had been submerged for a solid 7-10 seconds. Never stopped working.

Back on topic: I use a leather Apple case because IAACHM (see above).

This. I got one for my current V30 after it slipped out of my pocket at 2 weeks old and smashed the back on the patio. The case didnt last much longer before being wanged

I replaced the back and have just gone for not dropping the phone since then
