I’ve been outside in the sun all day on a roof with black tiles, had to cover where I’m working as you couldn’t touch them for mor than a couple of seconds

Air temp 35° (feels like 37°), UV 7, rain expected to start at 3.15. If it does rain it'll probably evaporate as it lands, much steam and mist (and doubtless crashes  ).

Yeah that really fucks me off here - I can do shit outside most of the time but leaving a spanner in the sun then burning your hand on it always teaches the neighbours some new English words.

41.5 according to the car here yesterday in DFW Texas, its not humid though so it's not too bad to walk about in.

It's odd that it's nearly as hot at home!

Car was showing 41 when I got in it just now. Dropped the O/H at work, and on the way back it's gone overcast and started raining. Smells like a thunderstorm is imminent too. Got back and it's now 31.5 in the car.

Teaching grandma to suck eggs but you all know basic car heat control - reflective shade in the windscreen, leave windows open a bit or tilt the sunroof, windows open when you drive away and a/c on outside air, then windows closed and a/c on recirc as soon as interior temperature is down to ambient. All makes a big difference.

37 (feels like 38) outside, according to darksky. was certainly toasty earlier and it was only 33 then.

Looks like it peaked at 37 and is now at 36 - didn’t hit 39 as was predicted earlier :(

Fucking typical, just started to put a roof on my goat shed so of course it will rain before I have a chance to finish it at the weekend.
