Heatwave scores

Post by Beany »

Yeah, ok, it's more just 'normal summer' but it's definitely toasty today.

What has your car told you it is so far?

29.5degC according to the BMW.

Any one want to beat that?

29C on my dash while I sat waiting for the lights. In full leathers, helmet, boots gloves. Not much fun.

Try straddling the rear cylinder head of your big V-twin...

I'm assuming you mean 29 as the highest recorded temp in the UK is 38.5 in Kent!

This is specifically for car temp readings - so inaccuracies are to be expected. Sort of the point.

Me mate Karens Polo recorded 43degC down in Devon

Either way, I'm 10 miles form Stockton and my car temp hasn't gone above 26 all day.

^ Bah, in the 40s already :(
I was going to say, 37° is forecast for Thursday so should get some readings starting with a 4.

Well air temps you see on weather forecasts are based on a shaded area, so it’s significantly higher when you’re in direct sunlight. I had high 30’s last week. Don’t know what it is but London is hell right now.
How about not having a sig at all?
