Hopefully not for long, but his key skill seems to be surviving.

Today's PMQs will be interesting (assuming he shows up!).
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

In terms of bad news being buried, the Downing Street parties have distracted nicely from the High Court ruling that dishing out multimillion pound contracts to your mates is "unlawful" - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-59968037

Obviously, having a pissup during first lockdown is massively out of order and belies the contempt in which the government hold the general population, but it's a funny old world when people get more upset about a party than literally stealing billions of quid.

It's not that peculiar really - most people value loved ones more than money. When you're unable to see family members/friends who are slipping away due to Covid, or who are stuck in care homes etc, finding out that those at the very top making the rules are at athe same time doing as they please is seriously going to boil peoples' piss. And we're well used to Government corruption when it comes to handing out ££ to your besties.

Oh, I don't disagree on the piss-boiling thing. Especially now we're talking about May 2020, rather than Christmas stuff, when pretty much everyone was adhering to the lockdown, clapping for the NHS, and Downing street were putting out press releases about "Covidiots" when there were 2 people on a beach/in a park.

It's the resigned acceptance of outright theft that puzzles me. Especially when this lot have industrialised embezzlement - if you've got a well stocked lake on you land, you can accept the occasional poacher pinching a few fish, but you may raise more than an eyebrow if someone turned up with a fucking trawler.
