Bluetooth --> FM transmitters
Re: Bluetooth --> FM transmitters
You're new here yeah?
Re: Bluetooth --> FM transmitters
I use this.
Pure Highway 600 In-Car DAB/DAB+ Audio Adapter with Bluetooth Music and Hands-Free Calling - Black
Connected via an aux input but can also be used via fm. Streams music perfectly well, clarity is obviously better via aux in than fm.

Re: Bluetooth --> FM transmitters
Same. All hidden as well so no awful looking aftermarket unit on show.
Re: Bluetooth --> FM transmitters
Topic started on Friday. I'm assuming the correct answer was to order a new head unit from Amazon or buy one at Halfords and fit on Saturday? I think the Pioneer one we put in the camper van was about £150 or so.
Its now Tuesday, so I'm guessing Beanie has been able to toss all his blank CD-Rs in the bin?

I think resolution of this latest issue by Xmas is optimistic.

Munki will have bought a new car before this is resolved.

i put one of those in my wife’s old ST, it was simple enough. You’d have to put the dab aerial on your windscreen being that’s the only fixed glass.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 11:20 amSame. All hidden as well so no awful looking aftermarket unit on show.

We've got to go through the "consider changing the car" phase first.Ascender wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 12:52 pm Topic started on Friday. The point of the thread was to see if these things were any good. Some think so. Some think not.
Other options have come up, including wiring loom adapters that will take bluetooth.
Head units aren't something I'm massively interested in getting into (expensive and most look out of place, not keen on not being able to dim the screen properly, etc).
I think I'm more likely to go for something like this which seems like it'll do what I want, with minimal pissing about - just plugs in where the CD multichanger does, in the boot.

Oh, don't bother - I've bookmarked that, and I'll come back to it when I'm not absolutely fucking skint.
