Re: Glastonbury
Got the killers on, seem ok, only really know them from playing mr bright side as a staple at every party I do, I’m sure that and are we human (the other one I know) will be on sometime in the set.
Still it’s a night off when I’m not gigging.

Re: Glastonbury
Saw a bit of the killers and thought they were so middle of the road my retired parents would think they were bland.
Enjoying chemical brothers on bbc4 with a few beers tbh.

Re: Glastonbury
I used to like them as a teenager but they’re either no where near as good as I remember or my tastes have changed!
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Glastonbury

Enjoying the Chemical Brothers play an MP3 of their greatest hits off their laptop while they pretend to press buttons.
Liam Gallagher’s set earlier was good and my bro-in-law was on tv for a split second looking mashed.

One of the mobile jocks kicked off about fat boy slim doing this last weekend and got a proverbial kicking for it. Seeing djs come producers on a stage at a festival is a bit pointless unless you are there to just dance and have it large, better in a big club or warehouse imo.NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 10:44 pm Enjoying the Chemical Brothers play an MP3 of their greatest hits off their laptop while they pretend to press buttons.

No way. That modular synth is definitely getting used to the max.NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 10:44 pm Enjoying the Chemical Brothers play an MP3 of their greatest hits off their laptop while they pretend to press buttons.

I’m only joking, I love the Chems. That Star Guitar/Temptation mix was the tits.

Comes to something when The Petshop boys are the highlight of your set
Re: Glastonbury
Dunno looking old like you say. We saw Hot chip at the leadmill years ago. Class.
Re: Glastonbury
They are fab. Even better than EMF at the ledders . God I'm old. (I know, Unbelievable)
Re: Glastonbury
Can’t say that any of Glasto has been unmissable yet. Not a great year; even the stuff I’d normally expect to be good is fairly flat. Bastille probably the best set I’ve seen

Re: Glastonbury
I enjoyed the Killers even though most of their songs sound the same and have the nostalgic lyrics.
I don't think the BBC will ever match the quality and quantity of coverage from 2016 or was it 2017? One year recently anyway where they went all out.
I liked the Men with Ven flag in the Chemical Brothers crowd but didn't watch that much of it.

Re: Glastonbury
Is it me or has Glastonbury gone more and more away from mainstream music, on all their stages? There is really nothing for me in this year's line-up. Or am I just getting old?
