Non functional aero

Post by Richard »

I’ve just seen an otherwise nice enough Corsa driving through town, which had been fitted with some aftermarket aero - in this case, fitted with canards

Their canards were black, but I’ve drawn up some schematics in red to show what they looked like

Maybe they were worried that their Corsa was too fast?

If they were actually like that then they would do nothing but create drag - they're supposed to push the front wheels into the ground so should be to all intents and purposes parallel to the wheel arch not vertical.

You shouldnt assume he doesnt have a home wind tunnel to help design his aero.

I would expect the only wind tunnel he has is the one he's sat on.

Seems to be a dipshit thing that the younger Subaru generation do too, although they usually fit them the correct way, that along with other retarded shite like darkening headlights. I met a nice enough chap at the mapper yesterday who was probably my age and had darkened his lights. surely it must be an instant MOT fail and constant tugs from the plod?
Could canards be the Saxo devil horns of the 10's?

Best make sure to call out everyone on here when it happens then. That should keep us busy for the rest of eternity.

yeah, we’ll go with that.

What we’ve done is a play on the word “explaining”, but adding the name “GG” to link it to him, because he has a habit of needlessly explaining things that are blatantly obvious to all. #GGsplaining.
