Have you had any interest at all?

I've no idea what the Seven market is like. I'd assume it's one of those markets where it's just a very small pool of punters, so it's just a waiting game?

Have you tried will blackham?

I thought about it actually, but he's pretty specific on PH about wanting modern Lotus'. Maybe I'll drop him a cheeky email anyway.

Duncs, there was a post on Pistonheads' Facebook page a week or so ago with a lime green R400 with far more miles than yours - hope this link works:

They were talking about best lightweight British cars under £25k and it seemed to get plenty of good comments. Made me wonder if yours would sell straight away because it's cheaper and looks in better nick.

It's internet, for sale ads are always full of "I'd definitely buy it if it was six months earlier / six months later / I hadn't just <XYZ> / this / that / the other".

People who actually put their money where their keyboard is are somewhat rarer unfortunately.

It wasn't people saying they were going to buy the one in the PH article; more the fact that a similar car was being promoted so that might pique the interest of someone to look at R400s generally.

I think you've hit the nail on the head Matt, it's something very specific. Once a serious buyer comes up they'll snapn it up, but it takes time. I probably put it on the market a month too late for people gearing up for this spring.

Nobody has looked at it, I've had a couple of people wasting my time via email, booking to look at it, canceling then not responding etc

I'm into R300K territory now, so I might have been able to dip into that market, but unfortunately I just need it gone now so might just have to take silly low money for it.

Gone to a stealer. Not as shocking as the first offer thankfully. The timetable was such that it had to go unfortunately.

Spotted it while browsing Caterham adverts earlier. They're a good stealer from the experience I have, hope they paid fairly.
