Re: Grand Tour Series 3

Re: Grand Tour Series 3
Nah, saw the hilarious #amazonshitshow advertising and decided it's still not for me.
An absolute unit

Watched it last night
It’s fine
Seems very old fashioned now

Whilst the hashtag isn't particularly funny, the number of people who seem to genuinely not realise it's entirely intentional is hilarious.

Trying to repeat the sheer joy of #susanalbumparty is a doomed endeavour in the first place.

It was good; an interesting location to film, some cars which are appealing and not loads of studio awkwardness.

Apparently Amazon have scrapped the studio for the next season, and reduced the number of episodes, with an emphasis on the adventure type episodesJobbo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 7:41 pmThat.NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 3:51 pmWhilst the hashtag isn't particularly funny, the number of people who seem to genuinely not realise it's entirely intentional is hilarious.

Hopefully, less pretending streets are abandoned when you can quite clearly see the police road blocks at each end, etc
Re: Grand Tour Series 3
Yep I enjoyed that, they’ve basically removed the awkward bits from previous seasons. The racing driver doesn’t talk anymore and they no longer have the celebrity section. Surprised it took them this long, can see why they’re binning the entire studio for next season as the road trips and reviews are the best bits.
Also Jeremy must be due to give birth soon.

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Grand Tour Series 3
Got it on now. Piled on the weight a bit haven’t they
Re: Grand Tour Series 3
They are very old
And very wealthy
And their money isn’t based around being beautiful
Seem reasonable that they might be a little fatter that previously. I do wonder if Jeremy might be physically more comfortable with a slightly larger waist to his jeans

The original £160m contract was for 3x series.Richard wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 8:59 pmApparently Amazon have scrapped the studio for the next season, and reduced the number of episodes, with an emphasis on the adventure type episodesJobbo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 7:41 pmThat.NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 3:51 pm

I wonder what length of contract they will negotiate next, if at all ?

Hammond looks daft with the dyed hair and beard. Clarkson says he piled on the weight after quitting fags.
Re: Grand Tour Series 3
I enjoyed it. It seemed a lot less forced to me, like they genuinely don't much give a fuck anymore.
They do look a right state though. HD is not kind to them. Not that it matters at all, it's just unusual to see people looking like that on telly unless you're watching poverty porn or 24 hours in A&E

It was certainly enjoyable, the Senna looked even worse going round a track! Looked like a car a 5 year old would have drawn.
