For the FTAO of JL
Re: For the FTAO of JL
I’m pretty sure my lawnmower is 4.5kw so that’s 89 Honda push mowers on overboost.
Actually comparing vehicle outputs to lawnmowers just makes them sound really unimpressive. A Veyron is only 164 pushmowers.

How about not having a sig at all?

Quoting metric power and imperial size - it’s the future (or past?)

The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on

This whole time I thought that was a Holden of some sorts then I noticed the front looks like a Ford Mondeo. It’s a pretty ugly thing, inside and out, that steering wheel is awful!

Not sure what this guy was trying to say!
Re: For the FTAO of JL
Oh it's obvious. He is clearly a nuclear physicist proudly demonstrating his preferred type of reaction. Don't we all do this?
Re: For the FTAO of JL
Ah, that makes sense, I wondered if he was an e-mail scammer!
Re: For the FTAO of JL
How could it possibly be anything other than what I said above
Re: For the FTAO of JL
Speaking about email fishing - there is a stupid poster in the canteen here at work about it with a Jaws like great white, a fishing line and the caption "if you don't know the sender don't take the bait". Has anyone else got this poster in their workplace? It makes no sense at all! The person taking the bait is the prey, not the other way round!
They obviously should have used an angler-fish - not only are they way scarier looking but the metaphor/zoomorphism would then bloody work!
I'm pretty sure this falls into JL's "over-thinking" category.

Re: For the FTAO of JL
It does, and also nicely into the "plus totally wrong for good measure" category.
In this instance, the emailer is the angler, the email is the bait and you are the prey. How on earth have you managed to transpose this?

Re: For the FTAO of JL
Yes and they have put a big angry shark as the prey taking the bait! Come on JL - keep up!
