Went to the RSPCA adoption center today and got adopted by this cutie.
Walked in and she literally launched herself at me!
She's tiny, I think she's going to be called Arnie.

Not that it matters one bit, but She’s going to be called Arnie?!

Isn't that how cats attack?!

I tried imagining a feminine version for it and came up with Arnetta
She needs to grow big and strong, Arnie is a good reminder/motivation!

She's got a little bigger, but not lot - That's a 500ml bottle.
Fast asleep
She enjoys watching the Cricket and Rick Stein..
She has no fear (until now) - into everything that opens. It's amazing the level of firmware they come pre programmed with. Given that all she has known is us and our apartment, this his her seeing and hearing a Leopard on the telly - she wasn't sure whether to kill it or run!
She wouldn't get off me for a good 20 mins until she had calmed down.

Arnie is utterly gorgeous.
We’re down to 4 cats now. The old boy was 14 and had been somewhat incontinent for a while and was losing weight despite eating loads, so clearly wasn’t right. He went off his food and was gone within a day or so. I don’t miss the incontinence but I do miss his presence and calm.
One of the youngsters, Badger, seems to be taking to the alpha role though. Another of them likes to sleep in the silage are our neighbour’s farm

This is Mini. He always looks dead when he’s sleeping. He’s recently taken to hunting adult squirrels and bringing their carcasses home. We think he must have some Norwegian Forest Cat or Lynx in him or something. He’s a big lad.

Really sorry to hear about your loss Simon. At least he seems to have gone quickly.
Arnie and the other cats here are looking gorgeous.

14 is good
Glad he had happy life.
If I believed in reincarnation, a cat would be top of the list.

Good boy
It's easy to spot Norwegian forest cat. They'll have heavy fur around their paw pads, on their belly and around the back of their legs so they don't get cold if they're rolling around in the snow. They also have long fur in their ears, like a Maine Coon.
We're pretty sure our old cat was at least part NFC. She was huge, weighed around 6kg.

Mini’s 6kg too. He does have tufty feet and long belly hair. He’s definitely not all NFC (we also have his mum and brother, his mum’s tiny and his brother’s ginger) but I think he’s got some dormant genes from somewhere. As well as the squirrels, he’s brought us a fucking massive rat. I fear we’re going to end up with someone's chihuahua...
