Thanks chaps - my first dog so I dunno if I'm weird or normal, but frankly I'm utterly besotted with her. She's awesome!

I reckon that's normal. I feel the same about the one we got about 18 months ago which was my first.

It’s normal, whether it’s your 1st or not, they have the ability to pull on your heart strings with just a look

Taking Maya for her first walk outside of the garden tonight, if she'll stop biting her lead!

Some nice recent dog pics. My mrs really is nagging to get another, I on the other hand am enjoying not walking in rain and picking up shit. I also dont miss the bills either. Would a french bulldog fit on the shelf in my boxster? ;)

I must admit to pointing to bushes in woods when he gave me the can I have a shit look - and without fail he always had a dump where noone would walk so minimised the hanging poo bags on trees

My old dog was good for that, he liked his privacy so would go deep into a bush. The current one is a little shit as he enjoys having a crowd near him when he takes a dump. It's particularly annoying in London as he saves it for when we're walking past a busy restaurant or cafe and will squat in front of everyone. He also has a thing for shitting in busy roads. I've had many times awkwardly standing in the middle of Kings road holding up traffic because he's taking a shit.
How about not having a sig at all?

Maya is now 15 weeks old and 25kg. Turns out they eat some fucking horrific things, in our pantry and freezer we have: a camel cock, turkey necks, a bag of rabbits ears, a fawns leg complete with hoof and Christ knows what else.

New family addition (sadly in-laws but too good not to share): Hamish, the 9-week old Boodle (Border Terrier - Poodle cross).

You should see the local pet/country store, it's nightmarish!

Jeffrey Dahmer's Bushmeat Deli. It's fortunate her breed has a long history of rescue work, she can help you recover when you pass out from the trauma of preparing her meals.
