Speaking of eBay, I ordered an item a couple of days ago, estimated delivery was sometime next week. Yesterday it was delivered by Amazon! I thought it was maybe the seller reusing Amazon packaging but it was a new, sealed box with Amazon’s labels. I checked the seller details and there is no mention of Amazon. Very odd.

So he's using Amazon as a drop shipper. Look up the same item on Amazon and see how much cheaper it is.

Not odd at all. Lots of online retailers use Fulfillment by Amazon - I used to warehouse a lot of bikes and helmets with them back in the day.
