I was going to say the same, its not my cup of tea, but it looks like an incredible example of whatever the fuck its supposed to be.
Cheers,

Mike.

Thanks, looks very good for the money as it is a fair amount of work to do the conversion. A bit of tidying and it'd easily be worth more in the summer/post-covid - obviously £3k is the money he wants.

The missus is not quite so keen, especially as I don't really fit in the mk3.

I'll be kicking myself when the suns out.

Converted cars have been 4.5k+ in the past

Terrible ad 😂

My guess on the hammer price is £13k mainly because it's such a horrible colour combination 😬

My dad had a '92 with the auto box. They're lovely things for wafting about in and feels proper old-school Mercedes. But they're most definitely not fast and will need a heavy right foot to keep up with traffic.

To me it isn't the kind of car you have with a manual box, so I'm out.

Dealers used to retrofit a/c into these and the first gen c class when they were current models, so as long as you can get the buttons I doubt it would be much of an issue.

I’ve never driven a manual, but the auto was happy cruising at speed once you’d finally reached it.

That's why you want a 300E really not a diesel ;) I agree about the auto too.
