i spent ages on there when I found it!Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 9:22 amDunno. Just seemed like fun, and I've got some time off work soon.
And better looking IMO. There's something odd about the front of the early Cayenne.
Yes, especially a matching Porsche ! Same colour & (near enough) same era.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 10:56 pm Yeah, but having a Porsche to tow your Porsche to trackdays would be pretty cool...
That's a nifty website. Ta !Rich B wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 11:10 pm http://www.zeperfs.com/en/duel1108-1082.htm
Very evenly matched on stats, I still think I’d go with the Toureg though!

I’m worried this might have my name on it. How bad an idea is it to buy a non-running Porsche barge ??
Would be tempted as a tinker toy if I had a trailer, and more space
Cheers, Harry

Finished at £1200. Too rich for my blood when you can't even drive it to check what else is wrong with it.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 5:40 pmStill cheap!Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 6:46 pm https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283814759832

And I know it's unlikely to ever be useful, but you're welcome to borrow my trailer any time if you need one.

Re the Fiesta "Ford cars are soaring in value" Really? and "Just reduced to £12995" but the ad is now £9995. In other words, we can't get shot of it.
Re: The ebay thread
Yeah you know it’s a good investment when the dealer reduces the price
How about not having a sig at all?

That engine is garbage tbh. There’s plenty of choice for swaps though.McSwede wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 4:57 pmIt's got 8 exhausts. I likey!! And diesel V8 appealsNotoriousREV wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 3:56 pm Also:

Would be a good base for a Cummins swap Rev .
I like the Granada. I remember seeing a mk2 Granada lowrider in Street Machine when I was a kid and it’s always stuck in mind as something I’d want to do.
Metal flake, hydraulics, Daytons. The whole deal.

Junk yard iron LS 5.3 and eBay turbo would be my choice and some banded steels on the back.ZedLeg wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 5:06 pmWould be a good base for a Cummins swap Rev .McSwede wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 4:57 pmIt's got 8 exhausts. Aye, that would make more sense. My mate and I have got a thing for a Cummins in a big car just now after seeing the recent Roadkill with the Gran Torino
A hot Pontiac 400 to keep it periodish would be fun but then your looking at a lot more money.

Re: The ebay thread
I’ve seen 5.3s going for $300 on Craigslist and just a cam swap for $250 gets them up to ~400hp. I just need to find a cheap way of shipping one, and something suitable to stick it in.

Aye, my mate bought one to put in his new off road buggy.
Was over a couple of weeks ago to give him a hand pulling the Rover V8 out and getting it ready to put in.
