On paper the citi golfs look like a good idea, in reality they’re a bit shit. They’re all 5 door and they changed enough panels to make it a useless donor for a proper mk1 build.

The modernised door handles and lights etc all look weird stuck on a 70s designed body.
Cheers, Harry

Aye, they make sense in their own market in the same way that the South American VWs or Dacias do. They don't make sense here for £14k though.

Super-niche interest, a copy of the Scimitar owner's club magazine from 40 years ago, I'm fairly sure I'm one of the kids sitting on a mini-tractor in this pic:

It looks like the VW "scene" muppets can afford a Porsche now. £400 for roof bars to carry an empty roof box on your stanced 996 ? FRO.

or they're just rare - Porsche guys love genuine Porsche stuff - and I could imagine plenty of middle aged Porsche owners loving that they can pop their expensive road bike on their Porsche roof and enjoy two hobbies in one at the weekend!

Schroedingers roof box
I don't imagine that scenario will happen often, they'll spend most of their time in the garage doing nothing.

Yes to both of those. Especially the tartan interior in the Blazer.

Is this the silliest price we've seen for a non-M E30 ?

Don't sit in it and mess up the valet results, you'd knock £10k off the value.
