how did this car end up with a dealer? Why/who would spend the sort of time and money to do this sort of conversion then just punt it onto a normal car dealer to stick in his lot next to a load of normal cars with enough profit in it still?

Seems odd to me.

It was advertised on the 20th July on the Lotus group

If the buyer knocked 1k off that won't be a bad return if he gets the asking price

That dealer isn't aware of the negative connotations of the name 'Motorhub' either. That's what Keighley Trade Centre changed their name to: https://www.keighleynews.co.uk/news/176 ... customers/
