So people can justify buying the more expensive (and more profitable) coupe because it's more practical, if that doesn't work and they get the saloon they can fleece more for options.

£27k Smart car

With a 300bhp turbo GSXR-1000 engine :o  :o

It looks like it's been done nicely, but £27k seems a bit strong for something with such a limited market.

What’s the story with rear spoilers on GT3s and aero kits. I’ve seen GT3s with the swoopy type spoiler like on our old aero kit one, but I thought GT3s had the flat type spoiler?

Fair enough.

Prefer the earlier one to be honest, the mk2 one looks a bit half arsed, not very good looking, doesn't look like it has enough angle to do much, similar to a lot of the other flat wings which appeared around that time.

I'm the other way round, I never liked the swoopy one.

I never quite put two and two together when people referred to aero kit as GT3 look because I always associated the MK 2 spoiler with the GT3 in my head.

Now I know!

I don’t disagree with you.

In isolation the rear quarter isn’t the most attractive angle for the mk2

A bit more cohesive when judging it as a whole

The RS is different again, like a bigger version of the mk2 with end plates and early 3.6s like the one I had were offered with a different Aerokit to the GT3 mk2.

Bizarrely that image came up of my old car for sale in Surrey.

I was just about to mention that smaller spoiler. Sometimes (very wrongly) called a GT3 spoiler when people conflate Aerokit & GT3.

And then the Aerokit spoiler on the Turbo / C4S is different again:

And don't forget the GT2:

What a shitty advert. Selling cars privately is bad enough - but why not spend 30 mins writing a comprehensive advert including all the key details people want to know - service history, spec, owners etc - and save yourself a shitload of hassle fielding calls from drive-by-wannabes asking the same old questions?

It's like people want to make their own lives difficult.

I like the look of that 8-)

The smart; I'm a bit meh with those, I think I'd prefer - and be more impressed by - one that was finished more normally, more factory (at least close the engine off, like a Clio V6). Mind you I'm thinking of road use, it SJ might find it suitable for his weekend escapades as it is :D
