I wonder if this was previously owned by someone on the forum?

They want £89.5k on a classified. Absolutely bonkers. I can’t see if getting half that.

Maybe if it was a collectors miles totally original car, but the fact it needed £14k worth of bodywork would be a bit off putting at that end of the market.

… and it’s done 200k miles !

… and the mention of it being set up for track work suggests it’s done a lot of it.

Didn't he have a very special ACS wide arch one? A CLS or something?

He drove me to the LJR in the Schnitzer once. Don’t recall Chris only posting to promote his business; he was more active here before he started it anyway.

He had an M3 GT before the Schnitzer but I have no idea if this is that one; I thought his was an M plate but it came from Northern Ireland and he put his private M-prefix plate on it so it could have been on an N. Genuinely just wondering because I thought somebody else had one too, and didn’t Jethro Bovingdon run one in Evo aiming for a sub-8 min Ring lap?

Yeah the evo ring project car was a great too. I always thought it was completely pointless starting with a great then pulling it to bits, especially as the uk cars didn’t come with the engine upgrades.

An evo would have been cheaper, had more power and suspension improvements, but I guess at that time we were still in the middle of vanos scare stories.
