I did not buy it. I like the idea of a Phaeton but I ultimately don’t need a car that big for anything and I’m looking at buying a 4x4 so I’ll need the space for that.

Ah, now that you say that it rings a bell.

I remembered it was a special edition and must’ve just assumed arctic because it was white.

As much as the engine appeals I’m leaning towards something Japanese just now. Hilux, Land Cruiser or Patrol.

Was tempted myself but don't understand why it hasn't gone yet, plus the 'not able to answer eBay messages' immediately made me think a scam of some sort.

It's well priced, but not stupidly low like most deposit scammers.
