FECPOTY 2018

Post by scotta »

In response to my outstanding thread on epic chocolate biscuits and the discovery of the forum Poll system I had a PM from young Mr Brassington requesting we start the process on Forum Exceptional Car Purchase Of The Year 2018.

This is going to be AWESOME.

Mitoboy's Defender.

Not that he bought it this year, but he has spent the equivalent of a brand new 4wd Dacia Duster on upgrades. I think that meets 2018 rules?

Are you not familiar with the routine? As per publishing convention, the December edition of OV9 including the end of year results, is released in late October ;)

What are these new expenditure criteria - does ‘upgrade’ include costs incurred replacing worn out bits? If that’s the case I might be right back in there

And I thought I was going to have to nominate it myself. Basically a Golf R in the guise of a jacked-up Volvo estate, what's not to like? 8-)

Yep, Rod's 918, YK's GT3 and then we just need Matty to replace his Elise with a 987 Cayman R to round out the podium ;)
