That'll be frisky alright, right in the sweet spot power wise.

It'll be ace fun. Of course it's also fugly as sin though. Will KTM ever make a bike that's not?

Just changing the exhaust and sticking a tail tidy on it will make it better. Still fugly, but better.

I've been put off KTM with mine anyway, the Triumph is only slightly ahead but I'll see how it goes.

Some nice machinery being shown this month, looking forward to seeing them at NEC next week 😎

When are you going? My eldest usually has an inset day when it’s on and I was going to drag him down but he hasn’t got one this year. Thinking of letting him bunk off on the Tuesday.

I don’t want to own one, but I’d love a weekend away with a new Triumph Rocket 3 R.

As mentioned on FB, I'm meeting my mate there on the first Sat (16th). I need a new lid so probably taking the car, unless weather is particularly kind. It'll be an early start to get there in time to get a ticket and some breakfast before doors open.

You'd think it would be rammed but we've found it manageable the past few years.

Nice. I like Arai but they're heavy and I quite like the drop down sun visor on my Shoei GT Air. That said, I tried an AirII recently and the same size fitment had noticeably wider padding, meaning I'd need to swap the cheek pads for a smaller version. Hassle. Hoping I can try a few on at the show and find one that works better. Also, I suspect I'll end up with a plain white one, as paying £100 premium for paint irks me.

Its an RX7 gp and quite light I think (same as my older one). The inner pads for medium / large can be swapped for along with the skull to fit exactly. When you buy one in a shop they will measure your bonce and get one with the correct padding produced.
Many variations as highlighted here

tbf it's easily their best effort yet. That's its only good angle though. The headlight and associated fairing make the front end a mess and from the rear it has a nasty streetfightered look.

An attractive bike but not a good looking one.

They’d probably fit one with an armchair if you asked nicely.
