I tried to find a suitable library pic but Google wasn't having it. It's not a pretty machine but it does most things well, and I miss having silly hp occasionally

It's kind of mad that the TT still happens

Imagine if there was a certain circuit on the F1 or MotoGP calendar where every year, a few drivers/riders died?

And it was just accepted/acceptable to everyone (organisers, spectators, sponsors, competitors etc)

"Oh well. Same time next year though?"

Mate called me with that news this afternoon, such a shame as he clearly loves racing bikes. Hopefully he'll find a way to keep doing it.

Did donington earlier. Was having a chat with the guy on the gate about how my back protector made getting in my leathers a bit tight. He then told me about this geezer with an air bag suit which was similarly snug. So much so that when he came off the air bag inflated and it lobbed one of his nads off.

So I'm thinking I'm glad I don't have that potential issue. He then tells me about two lads on a no limiits day 2 days ago. One apparently skittled the one in front and they both ended up dead :o

This is before I even signed on. Makes you think.

No Limits Trackdays statement – 28th June 2022.
We are saddened to have to report that a serious incident occurred on circuit this afternoon at Donington Park which involved a collision between two very experienced track day riders in our Advanced Group.
Due to the serious nature of the incident, investigations involving the circuit operator, No Limits Trackdays, and the relevant authorities are ongoing at this time.
We request that any speculation on this or any other online forums is not entered into as it will likely hinder any investigation and we wish to show the utmost respect to the family and close friends of the two riders involved.
We would like to express our appreciation to Donington Park Circuit marshals and medical team for their immediate and exemplary response to the incident.
Your cooperation with this request is appreciated.

You also have to have some kahunas to ride around a track thats under a flight path - as soon as it drizzles its like ice. And it pissed it down ealier.

I've been fortunate at Donnie over the years, it started raining on the last session of my Ron Haslam day, but we stayed out until they called us in. Seemed OK at the time.

I feel for those riders you mentioned earlier, but you know the risks and all that.

Found myself grinning throughout the riding sections of this video, it took me right back to my teens. Flawed as they are, I wish I could justify (or had space for) a stroker.
