Second Series of F1 is also good, better than the actual F1 to be fair!
Just seen ep1 of White Lines. Does it improve?
i didn’t get past the first one. The fit one from the inbetweeners movie either had awful acting or writing. I couldn’t decide which.
I've stuck with it and it's been ok, the numbers must be good as they're filming another series.

I'm watching it on the basis that it's a deliberately cheesy black comedy and not thinking too hard about it otherwise you just think wtf

Not really, but I stuck it out, finished it last night, some good music and ibiza memories, 5/10

If it was based in Blackpool it wouldn't have held my interest

Takes the 90's superstar DJ and twists it in such a way that it becomes utterly implausible!

how long does it take to kick in? So far it’s just one shark jump. Silly characters in silly situations saying silly things.

Yeah, it's silly, so I guess if you don't like that sort of thing. :)

Same for everywhere really, that's why we have this.

Programmes like this don't make it look unappealing either :D

I watched the first couple of post-lockdown HIGNFY and they felt really stilted, awkward and no flow to them. Which is obviously totally understandable but it really put me off them. Have they managed to make it a bit more slick or are they still constrained by the limitations?
Cheers,

Mike.

Much like you I am unsure what it's trying to be - murder mystery, soft pron, 90s dance music, drugs, dogs or comedy - the last scene with him handing a harpoon back in hospital didn't make think I'll binge this one.

May be wrong tho as couldve been a pilot.
Nope, it's just more Netflix shite based on a mood board

I've just recently watched the first two seasons of The Wire. I've enjoyed it. Not sure it's the greatest TV that's ever been, but its pretty good.

I didn’t rate it. But I was told by two people that it was better than The Sopranos’ so it had a a lot of work to do..

I’ve just started watching the Peter Falconio documentary on C4. I remember the case and quite a few elements so looking forward to the rest.

I can't find where I was pointed to this, but it was worth a watch, including the debate at the end of the main film. Cigar in the TV studio anyone?

Second series of Das Boot has finally made it to Sky, by which I mean garrrr sites. Really good so far, would recommend if you liked the 80's miniseries/film.

I really need to get Das Boot as the original mini-series is one of my all time favourites.

Apparently Netflix have now pulled League of Gentleman from the service due to Papa Lazarou....
