That ending was cringe.
i didn’t bother with the actual sale bit, but I still like seeing an M3 going sideways.

It was like seeing an old friend - I knew that car so well.

The V8 sounded so much better though!
The aftermarket exhaust didn’t come across too well, sounded too much like a wet fart for my liking!
How about not having a sig at all?

Binge-watched the first three episodes; back to its best!
Excellent. I just realised this had started already. That's the next few evenings sorted then.

Castelvania Season 3
Continues in the vein it started on - very competent, decently written, don't really need to be a fan to get into it.

Really quite enjoyable.

A solid 6/10.

Lost in Space on Netflix. Started watching it on Friday with my lad and we have gotten through to the second series. Really enjoying it.

Have developed a bit of a thing for "Binging With Babish" on YouTube. The videos are 5-15 minutes long and tries to recreate a dish from TV (often some of the more outlandish creations from the cartoons). Always end up being hungry.

The Outsider

Series 1 finale was on this week and while it was very good overall, the end was a little bit clunky for my liking… or was it ???
Spoiler
So the obvious set-up is that Holly is now El Coco but how / when did he scratch her (if the scratch in the post credit scene is in fact the infection. Why did Holly say "Who's Terry" when Ralph said "Terry Maitland will never get exonerated". Could El Coco have transferred into real Claude in the confusion of the cave in and then into Holly as she helped him out. Questions, questions...

One thing for certain is that Stephen King NEVER writes in phoney plot devices to throw you off the scent. Everything has a reason, and a purpose but it could be the show writers adding detail into the scripts.

Hope there's a second season - it's really well made and really well acted drama

The Deep

It's on CBBC, but it's great - cool gadgets, good humour. :D

Bumping this because it's very good. Great cast and the usual Armando Iannucci quality writing.

I didn't think the first two episodes were that great - it kind of got by on the goodwill towards people like Armando Iannucci, Hugh Laurie and Rebecca Front. Worth sticking with it then?
Cheers,

Mike.

I'm unconvinced about Altered Carbon S2. I really enjoyed S1, it was strange and engaging, but S2 just feels flat.

I think so. The last couple of episodes have been particularly good.

I read the wiki for the second book and from what I remember the story jumps a long way into the future and gets weird with ancient aliens. I liked most of series one apart from the snuffporny bits.

Better Call Saul S5 is as excellent as always.

Intelligence with David Schwimmer is bloody funny. I watched the first one and thought it was a bit stupid, but stuck with it and it's great.

Better Call Saul continues to be great and I'm currently rewatching all of Rescue Me which is very good, even the disjointed season 4 still has a lot going for it.
Cheers,
