Great Drives.

Post by McSwede »

Had an unexpected one this morning going to Middleham to look at Racehorses. It's a fantastic run but almost always spoiled by traffic, but not today. From near the A1 up the B6267 to Masham I didn't encounter a single hold up then from Masham on the B6108 to Middleham I caught a van but dispatched it quickly near Jervaulx Abbey and was clear through to my destination. It was only about 18 miles but what a fabulous 18 miles it was. Best little sprint in ages, loved it!

Journey home was spoiled by Bikes, bicyclists and part time pikeys.

Cleaned the moss of mine with the power washer earlier. All the way from the road up to the garage door.

My parents have a place in the Dales, Ingleton to Hawes to Masham and back (usually having lunch in the black sheep brewery) is a lovely run if you can get past the dawdlers.
