You know, I think I generally prefer a black face now. Not sure I can say that. But it makes the whole watch more legible.

Thoughts on this one?

I like the look of it. I get an award for 25 years' service - this is one of the things I can select and my watch-mad buddy who started on the same day as me so has the same reward has just selected one of these. Or there are a bunch of other random products or I could get Amazon vouchers and pick something from there. I think I'd like to get something 'special' rather than fritter the amount away on buying coffee capsules or random essential cables off Amazon, which is what I might do with it otherwise.

“Jazzmaster” 😂

Nice looking watch though (I like military style)

How the fuck are you at 25 year service?! Are you a lot older than I assumed or did you just keep on with your paper round?! 😀

Like that a lot. Have fancied something-with-orange for a while, and 42mm sounds ideal.

I like the way the new Tudor 'blue bay' looks.

Kind of Matt finish.

But I've never really noticed the bracelet before. That's nasty! The kind of rivet things on the end of the links. Urgh.

That really spoils an otherwise appealing watch IMO

Pressie to myself has arrived. I like it. Nice and simple. Wind up. Feels a bit strange having such a lightweight flexible strap compared to the rubber strap on my SKX007.

I really want a manual winding watch, I don't even know why. I think maybe it's something old school and mechanical in an ever more digitised world... must be getting old.

I think there’s something in that. See also my recent delving into film cameras again.
