What's not to like?!! In terms of looks anyway.
The ridiculous wheels and the stupid thing on the back?

And the colour.

Nope, you're entirely wrong. It's absolutely brilliant.

I'd lose the boomerang aerial if it was mines but the rest is good.

Was it one of the Crocodile Dundee films where the driver ripped it off the back of the car and used it as a boomerang?

And that is CAF.

Looks a right state now, all the arches are rusting to bits. Shame really as colour aside it had potential to be a pretty cool car.

The wheels look like their offset is for a standard car too not a wide arched one.

Plus he does the usual internet trackday wisdom and drops the tyre pressures right down then can't understand why he's got the wires poking through the tyres where the tread meats the sidewall....

Also just realised why it looks a little odd, the original car had a wrc rear wing didn't it?

I don't know what pressures would be suitable for a trackday, but I know you don't set hot tyres to cold pressures

Yep, it had a WRC wing tweaked to suit, plus different bumpers (the front had indicators set into it, the rear a central exhaust). I'll find some pics.

It's a very common problem for road cars on road tyres, everyone drops them to 30psi or less because that's what they see race cars do. Tyre is too soft, rolls over onto the sidewall and the outer inch of tread is destroyed within a few laps.

Sticky hard sidewall track tyres or slicks and suitable camberz then yeah, keep letting air out to keep the pressure where grip is optimum.
