That's not a good look.
(I nearly posted a moan about the M25/roads in the south east on the Traffic Jams thread earlier but thought I'd just get "it's half term, what do you expect?" replies. Maybe some is, then there're instances like this, and now night closures will be in effect. All in all it's a ballache trying to escape the se ).

I had to drive from Norfolk to goodwood last Friday and was dreading it, but it was smooth sailing all the way, even at 5pm on a bank holiday Friday evening. A minor slowdown where you join the m25, and another one as you start to go over the bridge, but never actually came to a stop and cruised the majority of the way at 70-75 mph.

I can't remember what the exact story with this Caprice was, either a Corvette mule or a possible high performance car in it's own right but it looks great on the Corvette wheels. I like the BBSs though, I think they would look better if the car was a bit racier.

How can anyone get any satisfaction from that anymore??
Makes Messner’s solo summit in 1980 all the more impressive. He was the only person climbing on any route and the only other person on the mountain was his girlfriend down in base camp on her own

Well it can still kill you getting to the summit but no doubt tech and the commercialisation of everything has made it far easier than it used to be.
It's still quite an achievement even if you're doing it with another few thousand people every year.
