I watched that, and the helicopter footage really made me think of Ridge Racer.

One thing I’ve noticed is that HD widescreen film with wide angle shots really kills the sensation of speed. Any era of F1 with crap footage looks sped up but as soon as you do the above to it you lose the sensation.

Aside from that the lamp posts and trees beside the “track” would make you think twice before overtaking.
