Muchos rain here. The patio's flooding, rivers are running down the road, it's easy to see how lower lying places can get flooded easily. Never mind green laning, wet laning is appealing atm from ford to ford.

The weather this summer has sucked from start to finish. I'd struggle to think of more than 1 or 2 days in a row where the weather was properly nice. We even had to cancel a race last weekend, first time in 9 years, because of the thunder & lightning. I'm still hoping for a very late summer arriving any week now...

I don’t mind the rain, not been too bad in the SE, prefer it over having a hosepipe ban, it’s the relentless storms that are getting tiring.

It’s been pretty good over this way, a very pleasant summer up to now.

Dave!

Yep, not been too bad here, although annoyingly the really hot weather has tended to be mid week with the rain coming at weekends 😂

Am I correct in saying you live somewhere in Scotland?

Summer's got another 5-6 weeks yet!

The tail end of Spring was fairly cr4p, but summer has been a fairly mixed bag of a few weeks of blissful warmth, and a couple of weeks of rain. It's the cold that does me in though - today's been a shocker. If it was warm but wet I could cope, but the cold can piss right off for a couple of months yet

Fuck aye!

Worst summer I can remember by some distance though, even by our pale-skinned standards.

May to June was amazing. July & Aug less so....

I don't think it's been particularly worse than usual. IIRC it's usually nice May/June, too hot and humid in July and wet in August.

Got to keep the Scottish weather stereotype up for the Festival tourists .

Saying that, it's not really a british summer if people aren't moaning about the weather.

It's been pretty fucking nice through most of the summer up here in Leeds.

Only started getting a bit meh a couple of weeks ago.

Our heating has kicked in the last 2 mornings. A few weeks ago we needed a fan on. There's a distinct lack of inbetween weather

108oF and blue skies here... high humidity (85%+) in the mornings though. Sat by pool drinking dark and stormys (stormies?) made with Gosling’s Black Seal rum and Gosling’s ginger beer...I’ve just worked out I can commute from here! 😂

Gosling's is lovely. I received a bottle of the family reserve for Crimbo. Need to get tucked into that!

Bastard. You in Bermuda?

I've got the Black Seal. I'll have to make do with cranking the heating up

108 sounds like too much. Didn’t we just sneak over 100 during the heatwave a few weeks ago?

Disgusting stuff, the sooner it's wiped out all together the better.
