I've watched the moon rise, I've watched the sun rise. That's enough for one day, isn't it?

Thunder! Lightning! Hail! It's all a bit angry and intense.

Yeah, had that heading into the office. Now gone as quickly as it arrived.

Look how bad the traffic is https://www.google.com/maps/@51.572637, ... a=!5m1!1e1 and it only gets worse when you zoom in or out. 30° and rush hour still to come, I wouldn't want to be in that

Well shit, I'm driving through that soon. In the 6 series with it's love for overheating. Better get the recovery details ready.

This morning it was pretty cloudy and I was disappointed I’d not shuffled the driveway to be able to take the ‘sud.

That cleared pretty quickly and I was soon glad I hadnt. It’s like a proper greenhouse with terrible ventilation and heat soak from the mechanicals 🤣

That's the problem with old(er) cars, though at least aftermarket ac is more readily available and less expensive than it was.

Today, already it's https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100070669576980, later I'll be https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100018177944364 .

I have been considering aftermarket ac, but only to the point of wondering if it would physically fit, not actually looking into prices 🤣

I’d quite happily have the Mk2 golf as a daily driver if it had AC.

I drove back to North Yorkshire yesterday from the Cotswolds and it took me over 6hrs. It was a horrid drive home 🙁

I don’t think I could survive without AC in a car. It’s not like the old days when roads were freely flowing and the weather was a bit cooler. It feels like at least once I week I get caught up in a massive traffic jam for over a few hours at least.

I use AC less this time of year tbh. I take the opportunity to open the windows.

I'm surprised you don't have a collection of factory bits ready to retro fit :P

The dawn cacophony, the RedBull powered toddler sibling of the dawn chorus :(
I think the birds here mostly woke up, stretched, saw the clear half moon in a slightly different part of the sky, turned round and went back to sleep.

Dropped the car off for MOT, was thinking of walking back up the hill home but it's 20+degC already, so fuck that noise I'm getting a taxi!
