The Weather Thread.
Re: The Weather Thread.
It was properly mental last night, never seen anything like it. Must look through the pics to see what I got, but this one stood out.
Cheers,
Mike.

Re: The Weather Thread.
Had a very slight shower when I left the house this morning but cleared and brighter than it was yesterday now. Was hoping for a decent downpour tbh
Cheers, Harry

Re: The Weather Thread.
Cant say its too hot now
Re: The Weather Thread.
It's certainly not dry here now (but we get off v. lightly compared to umpteen places).
Re: The Weather Thread.
My awning and it's contents aren't attached to my caravan. The weather in August sums up 2020
Re: The Weather Thread.
Shit, hope the damage is minimal...
I was playing golf yesterday afternoon, the rain stepped up for the last two holes until the last green was literally an inch or two deep - straight over the hole too...
I somehow managed a jammy bogey, even after a drop, by skimming my third shot to 2 foot from the pin!

Re: The Weather Thread.
One of the reasons I stopped playing. Vanishing plugged balls most of the year... Oh and I'm shit
Was hoping to get the bike out this weekend.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much rain fall in London. I was in the car in traffic and in the space of 10 mins the water on the ground went from just damp to level with the kerbs. Aqua planing at 20 mph!
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: The Weather Thread.
It's bloomin' murky here today There's thick fog and mist that I'm sure has a pong to it (probably the smell of disappointment).

I don’t know where you are, but most of the countryside literally smells of shite at the moment, and a damp heavy atmosphere can really make it linger.
Cheers, Harry
Re: The Weather Thread.
Can’t get away from it, London usually stinks, and the countryside is being ploughed and having the excrement of Londoners mixed in with the soil. Mmmhmmm.

The sewage treatment plant near me set on fire so the canal smells like burnt shit currently
Re: The Weather Thread.
Was bloody lovely here both Saturday and Sunday.
Jumped in the car and took the dogs for a walk somewhere different. Did about 8 miles and our older dog (12.5yr old choccie lab) still managed to jump into the car at the end, but was very happy to stay there once inside - not sure how much longer she’ll manage this type of walk).
None of the countryside smelled of shit, and some highland peaks 80 miles away were perfectly visible.

Yep, now that the farmers have harvested most of their crops, it's time to spray the fields with manure!integrale_evo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 10:19 am I don’t know where you are, but most of the countryside literally smells of shite at the moment, and a damp heavy atmosphere can really make it linger.
Car with a decent pollen filter helps....riding a bike doesn't
