I need some fucking rain!!!

I moved into the new house last September so not much to be done with the grass but cut it and leave it for winter.

About 6 or 7 weeks ago I aerated it, put down some lawn treatment and started watering it. Watered it 2 or 2 times to dissolve the treatment. It hasn’t rained since.., I’ve done treatment #2 and still no rain. I’ve do so one more and then seed it.

My water bill has gone through the roof!

We didn't get the rain then but today's been making up for it; just had another full wiper speed downpour, and in between them it never seems to stop, only reduce to a drizzle at best. Doubtless the sun will be out tomorrow and we'll be overgrown by the evening

I aerated the garden again on Monday and spread the third and final lawn treatment.

Watered Monday night, today?? Downpour! Result!!

I’ll give it a few weeks and then spread some seed in the bare patches and I should be sorted

I haven't noticed any thunder or lightning but we've had - and are having - lots of rain, alternating between torrential and steady.

We're in Salcombe. Mostly rain. Went in outdoor pool this morning and didn't die of hyperthermia.

Riding at night off-road with a headlight in the rain is a waste of time. All you do is light up the rain in front of you!

The forecast wasnae wrong this time. It's been going a while, keeps getting more intense - purple lightning! - and doesn't show any signs of easing. It's still 17° but it does at least feel cooler fresher better atm.
